December 9, 2012 saw the biggest gathering of twins in Nigeria as Multiple Birth Initiative (MBI), Identical Media and Twins+ Magazine organized Twins Concert in Lagos. The event was at the Golden Tulip, Festac, Lagos.
The event hosted famous multiple birth celebrities in Nigeria like, Nollywood's Aneke twins; Chidiebere and Chidinma. Nigeria's renowned MC Yaw of Wazobia FM anchored the show. Artistes thrilled the guests and audience with good music. Also in attendance where some set of twins who are music artists like 2Sec, Twins Affairs, Same Twins and Mumazee Twins. Other artist who performed were Harrysong, W4, Jybho, Tipsy and Solidstar. Ribs were cracked with jokes by Igos, Lolo 1 (both of Wazobia FM), MC Ice, Baba de Baba and many more.

Twins Concert is an annual glamorous gathering of twins and multiples in Nigeria. This unique event sees a wonderful convergence of thousands of multiples including twins, triplets, and quadruplets, parents of multiple births, from all works of life, celebrities and non-twins alike from all parts of the country and beyond
The event aims at strengthening ties amongst twins and non-twins alike, fostering peace and friendship. It also serves as a platform to celebrate and share the unique values and deepen the bond among twins and multiple births including parents of multiple births.
During the event, MBI officially launched the "Multiple Birth Trust Fund" which was is dedicated to funding scholarships for indigent multiple birth children. This concert also brought stakeholders onstage for action-oriented working sessions and intimate round table discussions about the needs of Twins and Higher Order Multiples.
